In the Search rules.  There needs to be a box pointing to the radar symbol telling players the following.

By tapping on the radar search symbol, you can narrow the focus and direction of you search.  This will increase your chance of detecting enemy ships.  Adding more aircraft to the search box will also increase you chance of detecting enemy ships.

The Strike/Transfer Box is the heart of the game. More detailed information is needed in the Airstrike rules so players can learn the game quickly?

Page 1
Keep it as is.

Page 2.
Strike/Transfer Box

Once aircraft are placed in the Strike/Transfer Box.  Tap on the target icon.  The map will open up.  Now select your target.  If you select an enemy target the AI will automatically select the appropriate payload.  If you select a friendly target.  It will transfer planes to that location.

Note: Bombers that can carry both bombs and torpedos may have different ranges depending on the type of payload.  See Aircraft Units page 3 for details.

Fighters

Bombers/Dive Bombers have only one mission, bombing.  But fighters can perform two mission, Escort or Bombing. When moving fighters to the Strike/Transfer Box an "Escort" and "Bombing" icons will appear.  Move your fighter over the mission you want it to fly, then release.

Note: Fighter fule range/endurance is significantly reduced when choosing a bombing mission. See Aircraft Units page 3 for details.

Alpha Strike vs Waves

When attacking players have two options.  And Alpha Strike or in Waves.

Alpha Strike
An Alpha Strike is launching all of your aircraft in one big strike by placing all of your aircraft in one Strike Box.  This can have the advantage of overwhelming an enemy's CAP.  The disadvantage that when launching large number of aircraft (8 or more) from a carrier or small airfield.  It can take two or 3 phases to get your aircraft airborne.  This means aircraft launched in the 1st and 2nd phase are expending fuel while circling above waiting for other aircraft to launch.  When launch strike a very long range, planes launch on the first wave can now be low on fuel.

Waves
When launching Alpha Strikes from carriers and single runway airfields.  It can take longer to launch and cause some aircraft to burn more fuel as they wait for other aircraft to launch.  Under these circumstances, it may be more efficient to launch aircraft in waves.  Waves have two advantages.  You can maximize aircraft attack range and launch your first strike faster. Launching in waves can be achieved in two waves.

Option 1,  Put all aircraft in one Strike Box.  Once you select your target a strike screen will appear.  You can then select to launch your aircraft in 2 or 3 waves.  The computer will automatically launch in waves.

Option 2.  Manually put 8 aircraft in the top Strike Box (6 if you are using the Saratoga or damaged carriers). Then place another 8 in the bottom Strike Box.

Now set the Priority to the top Strike Box to launch the top Strike Box as quickly as possible.

Note:  You can adjust launch times by adding or subtracting aircraft.

Now I'm not sure if this is too much for you but it really took me a long time to figure all this out.

I need to correct my writing. This would be better. (Changes are in Bold)

Drag aircraft from the HANGAR to the STRIKE box.

Then tap on the Target icon in the STRIKE box.
This will open the map to select your target.

If you select an enemy target, the AI will automatically select the appropriate payload.
If you select a friendly target, it will transfer planes to that location.
