The v1.4 is foreseen for Sept/Oct, a v1.5 in November and the v1.6 for X-Mas hopefully

Select the features you would like to get in the game (multiple choices allowed)
I will organize the development of the features by order of preferences over the next releases

End of Rabaul
New scenario covering the landing at Bougainville in Nov 43
Extra air and land units
Several what-ifs
Probably as an in-app purchase

Air strike notifications
Set an alert on a friendly airstrike or transfer and get notified when it lands

AI improvement
The Japanese surface forces will focus first on the escort of the transport rather than bombardment

Start the work for the 2 player's game or IA playing the US side
Just a background task which is time consuming
No visite results (except unwanted bugs) but this is the first step toward the 2 players game or IA playing the US side against a Japanese human opponent
The idea is to sort out what is typically Japanese / US and what come sunder played by player / computer. Today Japan is tight to computer and US to player

Carrier damage
If you feel that carrier are a bit difficult to sink with bombs
They don't catch fire easily except when surprised with planes on deck

Sounds
Add support for music although the iPad allow you to play Music from your library anyway
Add some sounds if possible. It may be difficult to find relevant and free sounds

Shuttle bombing
When preparing an airstrike, you may select a different return base for your planes

Ready on deck
A new area on the Air Op screen will allow to park aircraft on deck and ready to take off
Useful for CAP and for a strike of opportunity although a bit risky

Intelligence on enemy airstrikes
When an airstrike is detected, not all information (size, type of aircraft, payload)
is revealed first detection but disclosed as a timely manner as done for task forces

Notification on sea unit found
Today the game stops only when a CV is detected
Settings could allow to stop also when other kind of task force is detected (transports for instance)

Oh com'on! Just 3? I want these:

Okay, let's sort this out case by case:

End of Rabaul : new stuff is always welcomed!

Air strike notifications : I think I am one of those guys asked for this, so I would love to see it in the next version or later

AI improvement: the thing is, IJN TRS are already hard to sink -- given 1) they have no critical damage other than "structural damage" and tougher than a CL, and 2) 1942 is not a very good year for American torpedo, I see no priority in this

Start the work for the 2 player's game or IA playing the US side : I am not sure about what the writing above mean, but this is another thing I would love to see from start...but! human IJN player would make the game a catwalk, even in the Bismark scenario, a two-human game may be more desirable with final score adjustment/handicap

Carrier damage : given that I can sink the mighty Yamato with 4 torpedoes and 4 bombs only, CVA is the toughest ship in the game, second to none. And I would really want to see it changed.

Sounds : I play most games muted so this does not even brother me, not a single bit. Smile

Shuttle bombing: life-saver for my CV -- launching from deep south to strike enemy CVA and land on PM/G or vice versa, great idea

Ready on deck: when you know the enemy is somewhere out there waiting to be spotted, have your men ready could be a game changer

Intelligence on enemy airstrikes: I am not sure if this is very useful but knowing the enemy air strike package at once is not very realistic

Notification on sea unit found: another thing I would love to see, the sooner the better...

The Rabaul scenario, by the way, happens at the END of 1943, which means it has all KINDS of new planes (and ships) that none of the other scenarios have. Hellcats, Corsairs, Lightnings, B-24s, you name it. It's by far my favorite of all of the scenarios.

Plus, it's the largest scenario in terms of the numbers of planes and ships.

So for the moment, it seems that the 1.4 will focus on air strike notifications plus some preparation work for the 2 players game

Rabaul and shuttle bombing are good candidates for the next one

I am going to study it
If easy to change, then it could be available soon

Later after the Rabaul scenario, transport damage may be enhanced as well
- damage to the cargo
- damage to the unloading capability
- more likely to catch fire with a full cargo
